AYSO 1079 COVID-19 Updates:
AYSO 1079 is dedicated to ensure our players and families safety.
We are actively working with the City of Mesa Parks and Rec Department, AYSO National
and the Arizona Soccer Association to provide a quality return to play for 2021.
When we return to play there will be a few things we will need our players, coaches and families to do to help ensure everyone stays healthy which some are listed below:
1. Face masks (at this time) will not be required, however players may elect to use them during play.
2. Touch less Hand Sanitizers will be available for those attending games who wish to use them.
3. There is a City max of 50 people (players, coaches, referees, and parents) per field.
(We are working to try to increase this number with the City, but please be respectful of it and try to limit spectators so we do not loose our ability to use the fields. Park Rangers and the City will be present for enforcement.)
4. Visitors and Spectators are encouraged to stay 6 feet apart on the sidelines and whenever possible.
5. No sharing of water bottles, food or other items between players.
6. Snacks and treats shall be prepackaged items only to prevent contamination.
7. Coaches are encouraged to take players temperatures before practices. Temperatures for players will be taken at the front entrance with touch less thermometer to verify all players are able to participate in games.
8. Unfortunately, high 5's, end of game tunnels and handshakes will not be able to occur at this time to show good sportsmanship. We encourage other social distancing ways to congratulate and encourage each other.
9. If you or your child feel sick please stay home, especially if you have a fever. This applies at any time.
COVID-19 Testing Locations can be found using the following AZ Department of Health link

As we get more information from the City of Mesa we will be able to provide more information a guidelines on the facilities and what will or will not be available such as drinking fountains and water stations. Please be patient as this is a very fluid process and can change quickly.
